Gorilla Media showcases the best work from multimedia journalism and media production students in Pittsburg State University's Department of Communication.

All work published by Gorilla Media is offered for use by the public, including media organizations, free of charge as a service of the Department of Communication at Pittsburg State University.

Work is offered for republication under a Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license, which requires that republishers give credit to the student author of the work as well as PSU's Department of Communication. For example, a story written by student John Doe should be as follows credited: “John Doe, Pitt State Dept. of Communication.”

Additionally, Gorilla Media appreciates it when republishers provide notice they're republishing the works (students like to know their work is being republished). Please notify Gorilla Media editor Ken Ward via email at kjward@pittstate.edu when republishing work from the website.
